The Skotta dress, the red version, laid on the grass over a white blouse — crimson red with a deep white eyelet-rib hem and, under the chest, a black band of butterflies with white upper wings, yellow lower wings and gold embroidered bodies, shown in the pattern’s original colours (sun yellow is no longer made). There is no photo of the blue version. The blouse and the small white flowers are not part of the pattern; the red cardigan behind is Fiðrildaslóð, a separate pattern
