Genuine Icelandic sheepskin rugs and throws in their natural, undyed colors — white, grey, black and brown. Icelandic sheep descend from the animals Viking settlers brought over a thousand years ago, and surviving Icelandic winters gave them an unusually long, thick fleece. That's what makes these skins so deep, soft and warm — each one unique in shade and size.
Where does a sheepskin work best?
Draped over a sofa, armchair or bench, or laid beside the bed on a stone or wooden floor, where the soft wool is a small daily luxury between the toes. Long-haired and short-haired skins each have their own character; both bring warmth and texture to a room instantly.
We're a small family-run shop in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland, and we've done things the same way since 2013: real Icelandic products and honest answers. Since every skin is one of a kind, just ask us if you'd like to know more about what's in stock.
