Traditional Icelandic Pancake Pan with Wooden Handle

Traditional Icelandic pancake pan, called a Pönnukökur pan, has been produced since 1950 in Iceland. The pan has a flat, round cooking surface with shallow indentations, perfect for making thin pancakes similar to crepes. The non-stick coating prevents batter from sticking to the surface, allowing for effortless flipping and removal of delicate pancakes.
The Icelandic pancakes are usually served rolled up with sugar (granulated or brown sugar and icing sugar) and rolled up, or filled with jam, folded into quarters and serve with whipped cream and are enjoyed as a sweet treat or snack in Iceland. They are good either warm or cold.

Included: Recipe for Icelandic Pancakes and instructions on how to use.

Preparation before use of the pan:
Wash the pan with dishwashing liquid soap (dish detergent) and dry. Heat to high temperature and melt butter on it for 5-10 minutes. Cool the pan and wipe with a damp cloth. Now it is ready to use.
Note: The pancake pan can not be use on induction cook top.
Cleaning: Wipe only a damp cloth, do not put the pan in the dishwasher or use detergents after use. The pan should never be washed after use.
Material: Crafted from high-quality aluminum, this pancake pan ensures even heat distribution for consistent cooking results. The lightweight nature of aluminum makes it easy to handle.
Wooden Handle: The wooden handle remains cool to the touch, allowing for safe handling during cooking.
