What's in the kit
Snjóborg — “snow city” — is a pair of Fjallalopi mittens by Védís Jónsdóttir from Ístex’s Lopi 44: lily white with a glacier sand pattern at the top of the hand and a ribbed cuff edged in the same colour. The pattern describes it as snow in the city, when everything slows down.

How it is knitted
The mittens are knitted in the round from the cuff up, starting at the inside of the wrist. A thumb gusset is increased within the chart, its stitches are held on scrap yarn, and the top is decreased on both sides. The thumb is picked up and knitted last.
