Spring Sun — your questions, answered

Which size should I knit?
Five sizes, with a chest of 90 (XS), 96 (S), 103 (M), 110 (L) and 116 cm (XL). It is a short cardigan, 26 to 34 cm from the lower edge to the underarm, and it measures 97 to 124 cm around the lower edge.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the amount for XL: 8 balls of mimosa, 3 of fjord blue and 2 of white. XS and S use 6 mimosa, 2 fjord blue and 1 white; M and L use 7 mimosa, 3 fjord blue and 2 white.
Do I have to cut my knitting?
Yes, at the front. Every round begins and ends with a purl stitch. When the yoke is done you machine-sew twice through each column of purl stitches with small straight stitches, then cut between the seams. The pattern takes you through it step by step.
Are buttons included?
No. The pattern uses 7 buttons — six on the front band and the seventh on the neckband. They are not in the kit.
What does the kit with needles contain?
Addi needles in the sizes the pattern names: 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles in 40 and 80 cm, 4 mm (US 6) and 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles in 80 cm, and 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.5 mm (US 7) double-pointed needles.
