Smástirni — Knitting pattern
Smástirni (“Asteroids”) is a playful hooded cardigan where everything orbits the bold yoke motif. The body and sleeves are worked in the round with a purled steek at the front; once secured and cut, the hood and bands are finished neatly with snaps for fuss‑free dressing.

Knitting needles & notions
Circular 6 mm (40 & 60 cm); circular 4 mm (60–80 cm); circular 3.5 mm (40 cm); circular 4.5 mm (40 cm); DPN 4 mm & 6 mm; 5–6 snap fasteners.
Gauge
13 sts × 18 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette on 6 mm needles.
Construction
Body and sleeves worked circularly to underarm; join for yoke and continue into the hood in the round. Steek at the front is purled; secure, cut, and finish edges; attach snaps. Block to measurements.
