Váli is a hand-knitted Icelandic pullover in denim-blue heather. Zigzag bands in white and navy circle the yoke, and the same band returns above the hem and on both cuffs. The neck is round and ribbed.
It is knitted in Iceland from 3-ply Plötulopi, three strands of unspun Icelandic wool held together: Blues Blue (2022) with White (0001) and Navy (0118). It qualifies for the protected name “Icelandic lopapeysa”.
Men's sizes S to 3XL; the size table gives chest, length and sleeve for each. Hand wash in lukewarm water and dry flat. Named after Váli, the son of Odin who avenged Baldr.

- Hand Washing: Icelandic wool sweaters should be hand-washed in lukewarm water using a mild detergent that's suitable for wool; Lopasápa
- Avoid Agitation: Gently swish the sweater in the water without rubbing or twisting it, as wool is susceptible to damage when wet.
- Rinsing: Thoroughly rinse the sweater in lukewarm water until all soap residue is removed.
- Drying: Press out excess water without wringing, and lay the sweater flat on a towel to air dry. Avoid hanging or exposing it to direct heat or sunlight.
- Storage: Store the wool sweater in a dry and cool place, preferably folded. Avoid using plastic bags, as they can trap moisture and cause damage. More info
