Aska is a women's hand-knitted Icelandic pullover in ash heather, a light grey. The name is the Icelandic word for ash. Zigzag bands in white, grey and dark grey run round the yoke, and again above the hem and on both cuffs. The ribbed collar sits up on the neck.
Each sweater is knitted by hand in Iceland from three strands of Plötulopi, 100% Icelandic wool: Ash Heather (1027) with White (0001), Grey (9102) and Dark Grey Heather (9103), and it qualifies for the protected name “Icelandic lopapeysa”.
