What's in the kit
Round, glossy balls with a hard liquorice-toffee centre and a thin coat of dark chocolate. You crunch through the shell, then the caramel softens and the liquorice comes through — sweet, a little salty, and long-lasting. They are slow candy: one ball keeps you busy for a while, which is why a bag lasts longer than most.
Bingó lakkrískúlur — “Bingo liquorice balls” — are made by Góa in Hafnarfjörður, a couple of streets from our warehouse. Some Icelanders will tell you they are the best black liquorice sweet in the country; we won't argue.
