Lava milk chocolate bites - Góu Hraunbitar

Small vanilla wafers coated in puffed rice and dipped in Góa milk chocolate. The rice makes the outside knobbly and crunchy, the wafer inside is light and crisp, and the chocolate holds it all together — a satisfying crunch without feeling heavy after a handful. It's the taste of Góa's Hraun bar, broken into pieces the size of a thumb.

Hraun means lava, and Hraunbitar are “lava bites” — the rugged shape and rice-puff surface really do look like a lava field. Made by Góa in Hafnarfjörður, a couple of streets from our warehouse. Also available in a dark-chocolate version.
