Included
- Icelandic Léttlopi wool yarn — one ball of each colour, enough for either size
- Knitting pattern in English (PDF) — emailed right after purchase

How it is knitted
Knitted in the round from the brim up: five rounds of brick, one round of light beige and 2×2 rib on 3.5 mm needles, then the chart on 4.5 mm. The six pattern colours are carried loosely on the outside of the hat when not in use, with light beige at normal tension on the inside. The crown is decreased from the chart and the last stitches are drawn together. Finally the strands on the outside are cut in half and tied together, colour by colour, into small tufts.
Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 40 (no. 11), Ístex.
