Óðar snældur are fruit-flavoured gummies from Freyja's Nömm range: chewy, swirled in bright colours, with no chocolate and no liquorice. The name means roughly "wild spinning tops", and there is a cartoon spinning top on the bag.

Freyja, which has made sweets since 1918, makes them in Kópavogur. 110 g bag, or packs of 5 and 10.

Good to know: made with gelatine, so not vegetarian. May contain traces of tree nuts, milk and wheat. Contains E102 and E129, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Store cool and dry.

Are they vegetarian?

No. They are made with gelatine.

Why is there a warning about colours?

Two of the colours, E102 and E129, must carry a label line in Europe saying they may affect activity and attention in children. Freyja prints it on its product sheet, so we show it here too.

Do they contain milk or gluten?

Neither is in the ingredients, but Freyja says the gummies may contain traces of tree nuts, milk and wheat. Choose something else for anyone with those allergies.

Will they melt on the way?

There is no chocolate to melt, but gummies can soften and stick together in heat. We do not refund softened sweets unless you add Shipping protection in the cart (terms of service, sections 9 and 10). Kept somewhere cool, they set again.

Will I pay duties or customs on delivery?

Not in the US or Canada — duties and taxes are settled at checkout, so nothing is owed at the door. For other destinations, any local import charges are collected by the courier on delivery.
