What's in the kit
Fregn — news. A 40 cm cushion cover in three natural heathers of Álafosslopi — chocolate, ecru and oatmeal — knitted in the round from a chart and finished with a three-colour fringe along two sides. The original design is from Gefjun; Védís Jónsdóttir redesigned it and wrote the instructions for Ístex’s Lopi 34.

Size
40 × 40 cm (15¾″ × 15¾″), for a 40 × 40 cm cushion pad.

How it is knitted
The cover is knitted in the round as a tube: 102 stitches cast on in chocolate heather and worked from a three-colour chart, then bound off. One side is sewn closed with chocolate heather, the pad goes in and the other side is sewn. A fringe is knotted along both sewn sides in every other stitch — one 18 cm strand of each colour, folded in half and pulled through with a crochet hook.
