Overview
What's in the kit
Alasuq Polar is the original unisex Wilderness Sweater from Linka Neumann’s book Wilderness Knits (2019) — made for outdoor people, from forest walks and mountain hikes to evenings by the fire. It is knitted in Álafosslopi, the chunky Icelandic wool known for warmth and weather resistance. This colourway is black tweed with the yoke in arctic exposure, burnt orange, ash heather and golden heather. The Norwegian designer Linka Neumann takes her inspiration from nature and wildlife; her Scandi-style jumpers are built to keep you warm and dry whatever the weather.

Why you'll love it
- Shown in the pattern itselfBlack tweed with burnt orange, arctic exposure, ash and golden heather is one of the colourways Linka Neumann photographs in her Alasuq Polar pattern.
- Bright colour on blackThe flecked black tweed body lets the burnt orange and arctic exposure of the yoke stand out, with ash and golden heather as small accents.
- Two lengths, one patternWomen's and men's versions share the chest sizes; the men's body and sleeves are each 5 cm longer.
- Folded or high neckA 7 cm ribbed neck folded in and sewn down, or a 20 cm high neck in K2 P2 rib — pick the one you prefer when you reach the top.
- Black, or your choiceKeep the black tweed and its four yoke colours, or swap any of them for another Álafosslopi shade in the colour picker at no charge.
