Volcano - Icelandic Artisan handmade chocolate

Dark chocolate blended with caramel chocolate, topped by hand with honey-glazed cashews and almonds, sesame, lemon zest, sea salt, chilli and ginger, plus liquorice-dusted dates. The boldest bar in the collection: bittersweet chocolate, then honey and nut, then a slow warmth from the chilli and ginger, and a chewy, salty-sweet finish from the dates.

Volcano is one of four bars in Anna Marta's Icelandic Nature Chocolate Collection. The wrapper shows the Litli-Hrútur eruption, known in Iceland as Augað — “The Eye” — for its resemblance to a watchful, tearful eye. Keep the photo; eat the chocolate.
