What's in the kit
Útjörð is knitted holding two strands of unspun Plötulopi together, and its magic is in the colour changes: earthy moss shades blend gradually into one another up the body, sleeves and yoke. Vary how you carry the two strands and the colours shift like the Icelandic highlands themselves.

- Colours that driftTwo strands are knitted together: marsh heather all the way, with the second strand moving from sheep black to dark brown to spruce green to beige up the body and sleeves.
- Carry it your wayThe pattern asks you to vary the way you carry the two strands as you knit, to make the colours more changeable.
- Twisted rib edgesHem, cuffs and neck are knitted in twisted rib, and the neck ends with six rounds of a single strand of beige, bound off loosely.
- Sleeves for her or for himWomen’s sleeves are 46 to 50 cm and men’s 49 to 53 cm, with the colour changes spaced to suit each.
- Moss, or the blue oneThe pattern also has a blue version in winter blue, midnight blue, sea green and denims. Keep the moss shades, or swap any colour in the colour picker at no charge.
