US Flag Lopapeysa — Knitting Kit

The US Flag Lopapeysa by Olga Begak combines classic lopapeysa construction with a striking flag-inspired design. Knit in Léttlopi by Ístex, the sweater features alternating red and white body stripes and a blue yoke filled with white stars for a bold, graphic look.

The yarn included in the kit is enough to make the largest size of the sweater.
Knitting pins are optional and included only if you choose the ‘With needles’ variant. Pattern format: PDF.

18 stitches × 23 rows = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4 in in stockinette stitch.

Construction

Body and sleeves are worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarms, then joined to work the yoke in the round. The sweater combines striped body and sleeve sections with a star colorwork yoke.

• When it’s charged: At or before delivery, once your parcel reaches U.S. Customs.

• Who collects it: The carrier (e.g., USPS/UPS/DHL) on behalf of U.S. Customs.

• How it’s calculated: A minimum of 15% of the taxable import value (set by U.S. authorities).

• Not a shipping fee: This is a government import charge separate from shipping.

• Refusal/returns: Declining to pay may lead to delays, return-to-sender, and additional costs. Return shipment fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
