Description

I like to play with the Eight-pointed star as in the pattern for the sweater Afmæli. The result this time is a Six-pointed star. The inspiration came when looking at terrazzo tiles with clover pattern and thinking about autumn, falling leaves and grapevines. The two colorways give the sweaters a very different look.

This knitting kit includes all material needed to make your own traditional Icelandic sweater: Sexblaðarós, pullover made of Plötulopi, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir

Which yarn do the kits use?

Most use Léttlopi — the classic lopapeysa yarn — while some designs call for Álafoss Lopi, Plötulopi or Einband. Each kit page says which.
