knitted in just two colours. You can either choose contrasting colours, or pick colours
that are next to each other – just make sure there is enough contrast for the pattern to
show. Dóttir is very light and is knitted with double Plötulopi.
Johanna Vaurio-Teräväinen, or Johannavau, is a Finnish knitting designer whose passion for Iceland and Icelandic horses led her to specialize in Icelandic knitting and she finds inspiration in the rich colors of Icelandic yarns.
