A very ordinary thing for Norwegians to do in the fall, is to pick blueberries. And like in Iceland the berries are picked and saved for the winter and are enjoying natures own vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. The blue berries in Iceland, which are called “bláber,” are not blueberries. They're actually bilberries or bog bilberries and are a bit smaller and more flavourful than the blueberry.
The sweater design is made by the Norwegian designer Christina Gjertsen, under the name of Sisu Knitwear.

Why you'll love it
- Berry-picking weatherChristina Gjertsen of Sisu Knitwear named it after a Norwegian autumn habit: picking blueberries and saving them for the winter.
- Blues on light ashA light ash heather body with the yoke pattern in lapis blue and stone blue heather — the colours the pattern is written for.
- An A-line bodyTwo stitches are decreased at each side four times on the way up, so the body is wider at the hem than at the bust.
- No ribbing anywhereHem and cuffs begin with a small patterned border, and the neck ends with one round of stone blue, cast off loosely.
- Light ash, or your choiceKeep the light ash and blues, or swap any of the three colours for another Léttlopi shade in the colour picker, at no charge.
