Spírall - Blue tweet wool sweater knitting kit

Spiral wool sweater is a striking colorwork pullover with a half-zipper inset. Wool sweaters with half-zip and turtle neck, for men and women, has swirls scalloping around the yoke that looks intricate and colorful with a three-color palette.
The captivating spiral, the beautiful shape of the sea shell, linked together in to cascading waves. Or is it The Big Bang when our universe was formed with galaxies and endless quantity of shining stars?

This knitting kit includes all material needed to make your own traditional Icelandic sweater: Spírall, made of Alafoss Lopi, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir

Included: Pattern, *Knitting needles, and Álafosslopi yarn needed to make the largest sweater (XXL).
Not included: Zipper with closed ends.

Many of our customers knit their first lopapeysa from one of these kits. Choose a one-colour or simple-yoke design to start, and warm up with our free patterns. Stuck mid-project? Write to us — we knit these ourselves.

What exactly is in the box?

The knitting pattern and the genuine Ístex lopi yarn for the design. On most kits you can add needles as an option at no fuss.

Which yarn do the kits use?

Most use Léttlopi — the classic lopapeysa yarn — while some designs call for Álafoss Lopi, Plötulopi or Einband. Each kit page says which.

Do US orders pay customs on delivery?

No — duties and taxes are settled at checkout, so nothing is due when the parcel arrives. No customs bills, no courier fees.
