How are these different from the thick Icelandic wool socks?

Thickness and feel. The thick socks are a dense boot sock for walking and cold floors; these are a finer, lighter knit with angora in the blend, so they are softer on bare skin and fit in a normal shoe. Thick for boots, angora for the house, is how most people use them.

How warm are they?
