Which size do I take?

The bands are European shoe sizes: 36–39, 40–43 and 44–47. Pick the one your usual EU size falls in; the knit stretches, so the top of a band is fine.

What are they like to wear?

Thick and cushioned, with the spring Icelandic wool is known for: the sock stays lofty and warm rather than going thin and flat. The ribbed leg holds itself up to mid-calf.

Can they go in the washing machine?
