Ægissíða is the seaside street in Reykjavík where the city meets the Atlantic. Pattern no. 1052 carries that landscape in blues and greys. Part of the Álafoss landscape series, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir for Ístex, in Icelandic wool.
Icelandic wool is light for its size and properly warm, so this is a throw you reach for: over the sofa, at the foot of the bed, around your shoulders on a cold evening. The weave has a fine texture and both short ends finish in a fringe.
