Lón means lagoon — the glacier lagoons where icebergs drift slowly out to sea. Pattern no. 1071 carries their blues and whites, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir for the Álafoss landscape series, in 100% Icelandic wool.
Icelandic wool is light and properly warm at the same time, so this is a throw you actually reach for: over the sofa, at the foot of the bed, around your shoulders on a cold evening. Combed after weaving to soften it, and finished with a fringe.
