Good to know

Verur — your questions, answered

Which size should I knit?
Four sizes — 8, 10, 12 and 14 years — with a chest of 80, 84, 89 and 93 cm and sleeves of 36 to 45 cm.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the amount for 14 years: 6 balls of stone blue, 3 of light ash heather and one each of rough sea and black heather. 8 and 10 years use 5 balls of stone blue and 2 of light ash, 12 years 5 and 3.
The pattern says “ash” — which ball is that?
0054, called Light Ash Heather in our shop. Go by the colour numbers.
The yoke chart has blue squares — are they stone blue?
No — in the chart those squares mean “no stitch”. Go by the chart key: colour A is stone blue in this kit.
Which needle for the hem rib?
The instructions say a 3 mm circular needle for the body rib, but the materials list gives only 3.5 mm. The kit with needles has the 3.5 mm needles from the list.
What does the kit with needles include?
4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles in 40 and 80 cm; a 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needle in 80 cm; 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm double-pointed needles — ADDI, as named in the pattern.
