A light brown throw knitted by Varma from 100% Icelandic wool. Varma call the colour Natural: a soft, greyish brown that feels at home next to wood, leather and stone, in a cabin or a cosy living room.
The knit is a very light stockinette stitch, so the throw is airy and easy to move from the sofa to the reading chair, with the fluffy surface you can see in the photos. Use it over your knees, around your shoulders, or folded across the foot of the bed.
80 × 160 cm (about 31½ × 63 in), plain knitted edges and no fringe. Hand wash, or use a wool programme at 30 °C, and dry it flat. Varma has made woollens in Iceland since 1926; this throw also comes in white and grey.
