Ungi — a young one. Védís Jónsdóttir’s baby cardigan from Ístex’s Lopi 26, knitted in garter stitch with a single strand of Plötulopi in golden yellow: a raglan yoke, a crocheted edge and a few small buttons with thread loops. The pattern also gives it in clover green (1423) and sunset rose (1425), which you can choose in the colour picker.

How it is knitted
Knitted back and forth in garter stitch with a single strand of Plötulopi. The body and the two sleeves are knitted separately from the bottom up; the sleeves are seamed and joined to the body for a raglan yoke, with short rows shaping the neckline, and the cardigan is bound off from the wrong side. A round of single crochet goes all around the edge, and 3–5 small buttons close it with thread loops.
