Þel — your questions, answered

Why is the colour different from the pattern?
Hazel heather (1401) is no longer made by Ístex. This kit has chocolate heather (0867) in its place — also a dark brown heather, a little darker and less red than the hazel in the photo. You can choose another shade in the colour picker.
What size is it?
One size, for sizes 36 to 44. It is 60 cm long at the centre back with 50 cm sleeves. The body is a rib rectangle that wraps round you, so it has no fixed chest measurement.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds 17 balls of chocolate heather — the amount the pattern asks for; it is the only size.
Is it a cardigan without buttons?
Yes — it is an open wrap with no fastening. The 36 buttons in the pattern are only decoration, sewn along the lower edges and up the sleeves; they are not included.
How is the shape made?
The body is one rectangle with two slits for the arms. The sleeves are knitted in the round and sewn into the slits; the rest of the rectangle becomes the collar and the front points. The pattern has no diagram, so look at the photos as you go.
Which photo shows this colour?
The cover photo — the woman in the dark brown wrap, knitted in the original hazel heather. The light brown one is the oatmeal version, also sold as a kit.
What does the kit with needles include?
4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles in 40 and 80 cm; 4.5 mm double-pointed needles — ADDI, as named in the pattern. A crochet hook for the cast-on is not included.
