Stúkur — wrist warmers. Védís Jónsdóttir’s pair from Ístex’s Lopi 27, knitted in navy Léttlopi: shaped in at the wrist and out again, with moss-stitch edges and a row of small buttons sewn along the side. The pattern also gives them in black heather (0005), which you can choose in the colour picker.

How it is knitted
Each warmer is knitted in the round: 5 rounds of moss stitch on 3.5 mm, then stocking stitch on 4.5 mm, shaped in with paired decreases and out again with paired increases, and finished with 4 rounds of moss stitch and a rib bind-off. They are plain tubes with no thumb opening; the increases and decreases face the body, and each warmer is decorated with small buttons.
