Good to know

Skjól — your questions, answered

What exactly is it?
A crossover wrap: a long K2, P2 rib scarf goes round the neck and crosses over the chest, and its ends are sewn to the sides of a small ribbed back panel. It has no sleeves or armholes.
Which size should I knit?
Two sizes, 36–40 and 40–44. The scarf is knitted to 115 (119) cm before its tapered end and the back panel is 23 (25) cm high.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the 4 balls of bottle green the pattern gives for either size.
How do I put it together?
The pattern says only: cross the scarf, short side up, and sew its ends to the sides of the back, narrow end down. It has no diagram and the photo shows the back, so lay the pieces out and pin them before you sew.
What does the kit with needles include?
A 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needle in 80 cm, used back and forth — ADDI, as named in the pattern.
