What's in the kit
Skammdegi — “short days”, when the sky is dim in the Icelandic winter. Védís Jónsdóttir’s yoke sweater from Ístex’s Lopi 44 comes in two colourways; this is the green one: frost grass with a black heather and oatmeal yoke, knitted in Plötulopi. The blue colourway is available as a kit too.

Gauge
14 sts × 19 rows = 10 cm (4″) in stocking stitch on 5.5 mm needles with 2-ply Plötulopi.

How it is knitted
Body and sleeves are knitted in the round from the lower edge up to the underarms, then joined and the yoke is knitted in the round from a chart. Short rows raise the back of the neck, and the neckband is folded in half to the inside. The pattern gives a shorter and a longer body and sleeve length.
