How it is knitted
Every piece starts with a crochet cast-on, which looks like a cast-off edge. The back is one rectangle of 2×2 rib, 130 stitches knitted back and forth to 72 cm, then folded in half. The sleeves are knitted in the round in 2×2 rib, 64 stitches increased to 68, to 40 cm. The sleeves are sewn to the folded back at the markers and the side seams are sewn up to the armholes, leaving the front open.
Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 25 (no. 5), Ístex.
