Miðja — your questions, answered

Which size should I knit?
Three sizes, S, M and L/XL — a chest of 77, 86 and 96 cm (the lace stretches), 120 to 150 cm round at the hem and 78 to 85 cm to the armhole. Long sleeves are 40 to 44 cm.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the amount for L/XL with long sleeves: 7 balls of pecan heather and one each of chocolate, black sheep heather and black — 10 balls. Size S with short sleeves uses 7.
Short or long sleeves?
The pattern gives both; long sleeves take one more ball of the main colour. The kit holds the long-sleeve amount, so you can choose.
Is it hard to knit?
Only one round in six is a lace round — the other five are knitted — but the stitch count changes at every decrease round, size M has its own yoke instructions, and the pattern asks for a washed and blocked swatch first because the knit stretches significantly.
The pattern says 0052 for black sheep — is that right?
We read it as a misprint. Einband has no colour 0052 — 0052 is the black sheep heather of Léttlopi and Álafosslopi, which are much thicker yarns. Einband’s black sheep heather is 0852, and that is what the kit holds. The pattern calls 9075 “sandstorm”; in the shop it is pecan heather.
What does the kit with needles include?
A 4 mm (US 6) circular needle in 80 cm; a 5 mm (US 8) circular needle in 80 cm for the cast-on; a 3 mm (US 2½) circular needle in 40 cm; 4 mm and 5 mm double-pointed needles — ADDI, as named in the pattern.
