Mar — sea: drawing with waves, drawing in the sand, drawing with yarn, as the pattern puts it. Védís Jónsdóttir’s cropped yoke sweater from Ístex’s Lopi 43 is knitted with one strand of Plötulopi and one of Einband together — white with peach for a soft blush body, and golden blush with grenadine for the yoke.

Gauge

How it is knitted
White Plötulopi and peach Einband are knitted together for the body, and golden blush Plötulopi with grenadine Einband for the pattern. The hems start with a few rounds of peach Einband alone and a purl round, and are folded to the inside as a facing. Body and sleeves are knitted in the round up to the underarms, joined, and the yoke is knitted in the round from a chart. The ribbed neckband has a contrast round and is folded to the inside.
