Lopi 12 No. 27 — your questions, answered

Which size should I knit?
Five sizes by the child’s height — 110, 122, 134, 140 and 152 cm — with a chest of 78 to 97 cm and 42 to 58 cm long to the front neck.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the amount for the 152 cm size plus one ball of grey for the hat: 6 balls of grey, 2 of white and 1 of black heather. The pattern gives 3 (4 4 5 5) balls of grey for the sweater.
How much yarn does the hat take?
The pattern does not say clearly: its hat yarn line repeats the sweater’s five amounts for a hat with two sizes, which is a misprint. The hat is 60 (63) stitches on 6 mm needles, knitted 20 (21) cm before the crown, so we put in one 100 g ball of grey — that amount is our estimate.
Which sizes is the hat for?
Two: to fit 110–122 cm and 134–140 cm tall. The pattern gives no hat size for 152 cm.
The pattern says Chart 1 “does not work out” in some sizes — what does that mean?
In sizes 134, 140 and 152 the sleeve stitches do not divide by the 6-stitch border, so the border breaks where the round starts, on the inside of the sleeve. Start where the chart marks it and knit on; nothing else changes.
Is the other child’s sweater in the photo included?
No — the brown sweater on the left is Lopi 12 no. 29, a different pattern.
What does the kit with needles include?
4.5 mm (US 7) and 6 mm (US 10) circular needles in 60 cm; 4.5 mm and 6 mm double-pointed needles — ADDI, as named in the pattern. The hat is knitted on the 6 mm double-pointed needles.
