Light Breeze — your questions, answered

Which size should I knit?
Five sizes, XS to 2XL, with a chest of 88, 96, 106, 116 and 126 cm all round. The body is a little wider at the hem — 97 to 136 cm at the lower edge — and 40 to 48 cm long to the underarm.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the 2XL amount: 4 plates of ivory beige, 3 of light blues blue and one each of white, golden yellow, golden blush and sunset rose. XS to XL use 3 ivory beige, so one plate is left; XS also uses only 2 light blues blue.
What does Plötulopi 2-ply mean here?
Plötulopi is unspun wool sold in plates. In this pattern you knit with two strands held together, often two different colours, as the chart key shows — for example ivory beige and light blues blue for the body. That gives 14 stitches to 10 cm on 5.5 mm needles.
Do I have to cut my knitting?
Yes, at the front. Each round begins and ends with a purl stitch. When the knitting is done, you machine-sew twice through each column of purl stitches and cut between them, crochet over the cut edges with a single strand of light blue, then pick up and knit the ribbed button bands.
What else will I need?
Eight buttons and a 4.5 mm crochet hook. Neither is in the kit, with or without needles.
What does the kit with needles include?
5.5 mm (US 9) and 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, each in 40 and 80 cm, and 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm double-pointed needles — ADDI, the knitting needle sizes the pattern names.
