What's in the kit
Laufey — a girl’s name, “leaf-isle”. Guðný María Höskuldsdóttir’s top-down cardigan for children from Ístex’s Lopi 30, knitted with two strands of Plötulopi in clover green: a yoke of twisted-stitch ribs with bobbles and leaves, and buttons all the way down. The pattern also shows it in jasper red (1427), which you can choose in the colour picker.

How it is knitted
Knitted from the neck down, back and forth, with two strands of Plötulopi held together. A garter-stitch neck edge is followed by the yoke: a rib of twisted knit stitches between purls, with bobbles and leaves from two charts, increased to 143–163 stitches, then four garter rows. The sleeve stitches go on hold and the body is knitted back and forth to the hem with 2-stitch garter edges and a buttonhole every 12 rows, finished with garter stitch. The sleeves are picked up, knitted in the round and decreased, with garter cuffs.
