Which size should I knit?
Six sizes, with a chest of 91 (XS), 97 (S), 103 (M), 108 (L), 114 (XL) and 120 cm (XXL), and 40 to 48 cm from the lower edge to the underarm. Then choose the sleeve: women’s 45 to 50 cm or men’s 49 to 54 cm.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds 4 plates of oatmeal, the amount for L, XL and XXL; XS, S and M use 3. One plate each of chocolate, ivory beige and black heather covers every size.
What is 2-ply Plötulopi?
Plötulopi is unspun Icelandic wool, sold in 100 g plates rather than balls. This pattern works it as 2-ply, at 14 stitches and 19 rows to 10 cm on 5.5 mm needles.
How is the neckband finished?
After the yoke you change to 4.5 mm needles and black heather, knit 8 cm of K1, P1 rib, then fold it in half to the inside and slip-stitch it in place.
What does the kit with needles contain?
Addi needles in the sizes the pattern names: 5.5 mm (US 9) and 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, each in 40 and 80 cm, and 4.5 mm (US 7) and 5.5 mm (US 9) double-pointed needles.
