Hurðaskellir ("Door-Slammer") is the seventh of the thirteen Yule Lads. He comes down from the mountains on the night of 18 December, waits until the house is asleep, then goes from room to room slamming doors and laughing at the chaos — an overgrown prankster, not a villain. In old farmhouses where whole families slept in one room, he was especially unwelcome. Made in Iceland by Kandís, who use only fine-flavour cacao — here from South America.
