What's in the kit
Heartwarmer — a Léttlopi shrug by Védís Jónsdóttir from Ístex’s 25-year pattern collection, the January pattern: black, with a wide band of roses in garnet red, rust, navy and two replacement colours, running over the shoulders and down the arms. Two colours of the original red-roses colourway are no longer made, so this kit has replacements: 9421 celery green heather in place of 9422 sage green, and 1412 pink heather in place of 9428 rose heather.

How it is knitted
The two sides, each with its sleeve, are knitted in the round from the shoulder to the wrist: 184 to 208 stitches cast on, three garter ridges, the rose pattern from a chart with decreases, then the sleeve tapering to the wrist, finished with three garter ridges. A small back piece is knitted back and forth from the waist up to the neck, narrowing and then widening again. The pieces are sewn together, and a small button and a loop close the front.
