Góa – the fifth month of winter according to the old Icelandic calendar the sun rises higher and brings brighter days and the promise of spring. According to the Old Icelandic Calendar, Góa begins between 18 and 25 February. The first day of Góa is also Woman’s Day – like the first day of Þorri is Husband’s Day.
This knitting kit includes all material needed to make your own traditional Icelandic sweater dress: Góa, sweater made of Fjallalopi, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir
