Known as “Bombur” or “Bombs,” these sweets are childhood staples for many Icelanders. When the original candy—and later, the licorice version—hit the shelves, it quickly became a national favorite. Each piece is filled with a chewy, licorice-marshmallow center with a caramel-like texture, all coated in a thick layer of dark chocolate.
Careful with these, they are addictive!
