Hurðaskellir, Door Slammer, is the seventh of Iceland's thirteen Yule Lads and comes to town on 18 December. He is not after the food. The National Museum of Iceland says he went about slamming doors, so that people could hardly get any rest.
The ornament catches him running through a red ring with a big black key in both hands, grinning, one shoe sticking out below. Every side of him is modelled and painted by hand. About 7.5 cm (3 in), designed by Brian Pilkington for Sólarfilma, with a small English booklet in the box.
