Brautir — Earthtone Knitting kit

Brautir is a striking Icelandic cardigan worked in Álafosslopi. With bold palettes and timeless seed stitch borders, this kit provides enough yarn for the largest size, letting you knit any of the three sizes included.

Álafosslopi (100 g balls). Kit quantities below are for the largest size (L). Two palettes available: colorful and earth tones.

Knitting needles & notions

• Circular needle 6 mm (60 cm)
• 3 hook & eye clasps

Needles included only in the With needles kit.

Gauge

13 sts and 18 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch using 6 mm needles.

Construction

The cardigan is knitted in 12 pieces back and forth, with seed stitch borders. The pieces are sewn together and finished with hook & eye closures.

Kit details

This is a physical product. Variant weight reflects yarn for size L (12 × 200 g = 2400 g).

Once you have completed the payment for this product you will receive an email with download instructions for a digital copy of this pattern. It will be in PDF format.
