How it is knitted
Knitted with a single strand of Plötulopi. The skirt is knitted in the round in stocking stitch from the hem, then decreased by a third into a band of twisted rib under the yoke; the sleeves are knitted in the round. Body and sleeves are joined and the round yoke is knitted from a two-colour chart with decreases; from round 26 it is worked back and forth, leaving a slit at the back, where the left sleeve meets it. A crocheted shell edging — five double crochets in one stitch — goes round the hem, the cuffs and the neckline, with a chain loop for the button.
Design: Guðný María Höskuldsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 30 (no. 20), Ístex.
