Gauge
Before washing: 22 sts × 30 rows = 10 cm (4″) in stocking stitch on 3.5 mm needles. After washing: 24 sts × 32 rows.

How it is knitted
Knitted from the top down in the round with a single strand of Einband: a garter-stitch neck edge, increases at the shoulders, then a lace pattern from a chart over the back, front and sleeves. The back is made longer than the front with short rows. The lower border and the sleeve borders are knitted with two strands together on 5 mm needles, and the deep lace collar is knitted separately, back and forth with two strands, and sewn on.
