What's in the kit
Ýlir is named after the second month of winter in the old Icelandic calendar. Védís Jónsdóttir’s design from Ístex’s Lopi 44 is a dark grey Álafosslopi sweater with a black and light grey tweed yoke, a collar, and a neck opening closed with snap fasteners.

The pattern closes the neck opening with 4 snap fasteners — they are not in the kit.
How it is knitted
Body and sleeves are knitted in the round from the lower edge up to the underarms, then joined and the yoke is knitted in the round from charts. The neck opening at the front is knitted over a steek that is machine-stitched and cut open; a ribbed band and a collar finish it.
