What's in the kit
Viðar is a hand-knitted Icelandic round-yoke cardigan in grey that closes with a zip. At the base of the yoke the body colour breaks into a jagged band of scattered stitches, and the yoke rises along raglan lines to a ribbed neckband.
It is knitted in Iceland from Plötulopi, two strands of unspun Icelandic wool wound together. The pattern is Sátt, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir for Ístex’s Lopi 29.
Hand wash in lukewarm water and dry flat. Named after Viðar, the Norse god of the forest, revenge and silence.
