Vegi Black Wool Sweater — your questions, answered

Which size should I knit?
There are eight sizes, XS to 4XL, with a chest of 86, 92, 98, 105, 108, 114, 123 and 132 cm (33¾ to 52″) all round. The body is 41 to 46 cm to the underarm. Compare with a sweater that fits the way you like.
Is it only for men?
Vegi is the pattern's men's model, but it gives two sleeve lengths: 47 to 53 cm for men and 45 to 50 cm for women, or knit the sleeves to the length you want.
What are the short rows for?
Before you set the body aside, you knit four short rows (German short rows) back and forth across the back. They raise the back so the front of the neckline sits lower.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the amount for 3XL and 4XL: 8 balls of black heather and 1 each of ash, white and apple green. XS and S use 5 balls of black heather, M and L use 6, and XL and 2XL use 7.
What does the kit with needles include?
6 mm (US 10) circular needles in 40, 60 and 80 cm, a 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needle in 80 cm, and 4.5 mm and 6 mm double-pointed needles — ADDI, the sizes the pattern names. You will also need 4 stitch markers, not in the kit.
